Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our retail team! Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving concerns with professionalism and warmth Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and communicating stock needs to management Practice effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Promote a positive store environment through clear communication skills and teamwork Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar retail environments Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies enhances performance Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members effectively Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail math principles will support your success in this role Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
