The Customer Service Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers, helping manage orders, resolve issues, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. This role works closely with customers, warehouse operations, transportation, and supply chain teams to provide accurate information, solve problems, and keep orders moving smoothly. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in customer service, account management, logistics, transportation, order management, or supply chain operations. What You Will Do Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to orders, returns, shipments, and product availability
Process and monitor customer orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
Research and resolve shipment, invoice, and order discrepancies
Track orders and provide proactive updates on delays, issues, or status changes
Support claims, returns, and dispute resolution activities
Partner with warehouse, transportation, quality, accounts receivable, and supply chain teams to resolve customer concerns
Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and account activity
Monitor account performance and identify recurring issues or improvement opportunities
Build strong relationships with customers and internal business partners
Contribute to process improvements that enhance service levels and operational efficiency
Basic Requirements Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, logistics, transportation, order management, or a related field
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Internal candidates must be in good standing in their current role
Preferred Skills / Experience Experience in a distribution, logistics, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or supply chain environment
Experience handling claims, returns, or customer escalations
Experience using ERP, warehouse, or transportation systems such as
SAP, WMS
(Acumax), TMS, or similar platforms
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, transportation, or warehouse teams
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Work Environment On-site position in a fast-paced distribution and customer service environment
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Frequent interaction with customers, warehouse teams, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders
Deadline-driven environment requiring strong organization, communication, and follow-through
