Job Description
Our Service Advisors are an integral part of our staff. Answering phones and assisting the store manager and technicians as needed. This position is also responsible for accurately noting issues that customers have concerning their vehicles, itemizing needed repairs, scheduling appointments. In addition, this position communicates with clients or fleet managers regarding their vehicle's repair progress and needs. This includes explaining why additional services may be needed after the vehicle is inspected by the technician. In addition, this position fills customers with gas & assists with checking vehicles oil & tires when needed. Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule Appointments and maintain repair calendar
- Inform customer of any additional safety or maintenance issues
- Create repair orders and order parts
- Monitor service progress
- Communicate with clients
- Checkout customers after repairs
- Open and close store as needed
- Keep accurate records
- Assist the store manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass drug test and adhere to ongoing compliance Principal duties and Responsibilities Meet and greet all customers in a gracious and professional manner Begin to develop customer satisfaction indices Track time for repair order to develop and maintain "standards" Test drive vehicles when needed Going into parking lot and visually looking at customer's needs, and/or checking fluids & tires Quote any suggested additional work in accordance with pricing practices Indicate the exact repair instructions to both the Technician and the customer
