Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Call Center Specialist to join our healthcare support team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance representatives, delivering exceptional customer service through efficient phone communication and data management. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help ensure smooth interactions, accurate information exchange, and positive experiences for all stakeholders. Duties Manage high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls with professionalism, courtesy, and clarity Assist patients and clients by answering inquiries related to health insurance, medical appointments, billing, and general support Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to accurately enter, update, and retrieve patient information Provide healthcare support by explaining medical terminology, appointment procedures, or insurance policies clearly and patiently Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve issues efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of interactions using data entry skills in compliance with privacy regulations Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple calls and prioritizing urgent requests effectively Experience Previous experience in a call center environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred Strong multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse populations are a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for record keeping and reporting Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems and medical terminology Demonstrated ability to handle customer service problems with patience, analysis skills, and solution-oriented thinking Knowledge of health insurance processes, medical office procedures, and healthcare compliance standards Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and active listening abilities Technical proficiency with computer systems, typing speed, and phone call management tools Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing outstanding client services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.0 per week
