Job Description
The Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Associate role at ICS Industries in Browns Summit, NC combines order management, customer account support, and inside sales for custom print products, commercial graphics, and packaging solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Order Processing & Entry:
Receive, verify, and input incoming customer orders and specifications into the internal order management/ERP system with high accuracy.
•
Customer Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, product specs, pricing, lead times, and shipping updates.
•
Quoting & Account Support:
Prepare and deliver price quotes to current and potential clients; follow up on open quotes to secure sales.
•
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with production, prepress/design, and shipping teams to ensure jobs move smoothly from order entry to delivery on schedule.
•
Account Maintenance:
Maintain up-to-date customer records, file details, and history in company databases.
•
Sales Support:
Assist outside sales representatives by generating leads, sending product samples, and providing backend account administration.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
•
Experience:
1-3+ years of experience in customer service, order entry, or inside sales (experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments is a plus).
•
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with ERP/CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and fast/accurate data entry skills.
•
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with business clients and internal production staff.
•
Problem-Solving:
Ability to manage tight deadlines, multitask, and resolve customer issues efficiently.
