Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Arco Convenience Customer Service Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for customers. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our convenience store, providing exceptional service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Your energy and positive attitude will drive customer satisfaction and foster loyalty, making every visit memorable. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and card payments Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains clean, attractive, and well-maintained Perform merchandising tasks to highlight promotions and optimize product placement for sales growth Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages Engage in retail sales activities by promoting products and services that meet customer needs Support store operations through basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts when needed, fostering a collaborative environment Skills Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions Proven supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail or grocery store setting Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers through upselling techniques Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better communication with diverse customer bases Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for professional remote interactions Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures within grocery or convenience store environments Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries politely and efficiently Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash register operations, and inventory management Familiarity with grocery store operations, including cashiering, sales promotion, and stock replenishment This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
