Our busy veterinary hospital is seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. If you have excellent communication skills, a love for animals, and a desire to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, we would love to hear from you! Apple Valley Animal Hospital is a family owned, rapidly growing, four doctor small animal hospital in Hendersonville. We operate on the values of integrity in our patient care and our work ethic, and respect for our clients and each other. We love to have fun and laugh too!
Skills:
As the face of our hospital, the veterinary receptionist needs to be efficient, pleasant, courteous, polite, and helpful to clients under all conditions and at all times. They help to see that appointments remain on schedule, promote client compliance, and keep the hospital organized and running smoothly. Additionally, a veterinary receptionist will: Greet all our clients and patients Answer the phone with a smile Admit and discharge appointments and procedures Assist clients and make sure their questions are addressed and answered Prepare the appropriate documents for the next day's schedule Handle financial transactions accurately Perform other office tasks as needed Strive to have every client and patient leave with a positive experience.
