Contract-to-Hire Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM onsite
Work Arrangement:
Fully onsite for the first six months
Pay Rate:
$22.22/hour About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customer order processing and provide assistance by phone, email, and live chat. During the initial training period, approximately 80% of the workday will involve accurately entering customer orders into an ERP system. As training progresses, the representative will begin responding to customer emails, handling calls and chats, and answering questions about products and orders. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a dependable candidate who demonstrates strong performance, attendance, accuracy, and willingness to learn. Training and Work Schedule Approximately two weeks of on-the-job training Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM One-hour unpaid lunch Fully onsite five days per week for the first six months Schedule flexibility may be discussed during the interview Overtime may be required based on business needs Responsibilities Enter and process customer orders accurately and within established deadlines. Maintain minimal to zero order-entry errors. Answer customer calls and provide professional assistance with orders, products, and account-related questions. Respond to customer inquiries through email and live chat. Work toward resolving customer needs in the fewest possible interactions. Run reports and proactively review customer orders placed on hold. Research order issues and provide customers with timely updates. Follow up with customers to ensure questions and concerns are resolved. Learn product information and company procedures during training. Document customer interactions and order information accurately. Follow company policies, procedures, and customer-relations guidelines. Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Two or more years of meaningful work experience preferred. Previous customer-facing experience in customer service, retail, call centers, hospitality, or a similar environment. Data-entry experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to learn systems and enter information quickly and accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage changing priorities and identify urgent business issues. Comfortable handling customer calls, emails, and live-chat conversations. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and ability to learn an ERP system. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook and Teams, is a plus. High level of integrity, professionalism, and dependability.
