REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must have experience in the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Construction industry. Must have experience with scheduling and dispatching technicians.
PRIMARY ROLE
To work directly with the service manager to create an effective and profitable service department and manage technicians work load.
JOB DUTIES
Provide fast, friendly and fun customer service. Answer telephones and handle customer inquiries. Create work orders in dispatching software. Schedule technicians. Follow up with technicians as calls are complete. Record follow up work needed and dispatch next call. Issue purchase orders for materials needed. Order parts as required and track incoming shipments of parts. Make outbound calls to schedule, confirm and survey upcoming or completed appointments. Schedule maintenance agreements. Update customer equipment list. Maintain on-call schedule and communicate any changes to the call center and management. Monitor time and attendance for the service field personnel. Call and follow up with customer regarding outstanding balances. Work to resolve customer problems quickly and efficiently. Support service operations manager. Communicate with technicians and other office employees. Any other tasks assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Honest and integrity. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills. Detail oriented. Able to multi task and prioritize tasks with limited supervision. Able to handle high stress situations with minimal mistakes. Understanding of the HVAC/Construction industry. Knowledge of service area geography to maximize efficiency of technicians. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Must demonstrate a positive attitude. Must successfully pass background check. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have experience in the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Construction industry. Must have experience with scheduling and dispatching technicians. Must be dependable! We offer competitive compensation. A friendly and team oriented work atmosphere.
