As an AAHA-accredited hospital in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, we hold ourselves to high standards of patient care and client experience — and it all starts at the front desk. No two days at a veterinary hospital look exactly the same, and that's part of what makes this job rewarding. If you enjoy helping people, love animals, and can juggle multiple priorities with a smile, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Greet clients and their pets warmly, in person and over the phone Schedule appointments, answer questions, and manage a busy multi-line phone Check patients in and out, process payments, and keep records up to date Prepare vaccine records, lab submissions, and health certificates Keep clients informed and connected with our doctors and technicians Help keep our reception area clean, organized, and inviting Build lasting relationships with the pet parents who trust us with their furry family members What We're Looking For Genuine compassion for animals and the people who care for them Strong customer service and communication skills Calm, organized, and efficient in a fast-paced setting Comfortable with computers and willing to learn our practice management software Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-minded High school diploma or equivalent required Veterinary or medical office experience a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person! The Details Fast-paced hospital environment with plenty of animal (and people) interaction Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods Hourly position with overtime eligibility Why Maple Tree?
