What You'll DoIn this role, you'll be the voice of North Star, delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences with every member interaction.
Deliver Exceptional Member ServiceServe as the first point of contact for members through phone, email, and digital channelsProvide accurate, timely assistance with account inquiries, transactions, and service requestsResolve member concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidenceBuild trust with members by providing personalized support and guidanceSupport Member Financial NeedsAssist members with account maintenance, opening and closing accounts, and service requestsProcess transactions including account transfers, loan payments, ACH transactions, and wire transfersSupport lending and deposit-related activities while ensuring compliance with policies and proceduresHelp members navigate products and services that support their financial goalsBuild Relationships & Identify OpportunitiesListen carefully to understand member needs and financial prioritiesRecommend products and services that provide value and meet members' unique situationsPromote a positive member experience that strengthens long-term relationshipsContribute to the growth and success of the credit union through quality service and referralsKeep Operations Running SmoothlyMaintain accurate records and documentationFollow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with team members and other departments to resolve issues efficientlyParticipate in training, team meetings, and community events as neededWhat Success Looks LikeMembers feel valued, supported, and confident after every interactionYou consistently provide accurate information and timely follow-throughMember questions and concerns are resolved efficiently and professionallyYou identify opportunities to enhance members' financial well-beingYou contribute to a positive team environment and support organizational goalsWhat You Bring6 months to 2 years of customer service, financial services, call center, or related experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong communication, listening, and problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships and provide exceptional serviceAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionComfort using technology and multitasking in a fast-paced environmentPrevious banking, credit union, or call center experience is a plus
