Job Description
Join one of the largest Ford Dealerships in Nebraska and the best work environment in the industry! The Service Advisor at our Scottsbluff, NE location acts as the liaison between the customer and Transwest technician when service is required. The Service Advisor is responsible for meeting with customers, listening to their concerns about their vehicle, suggesting repair and maintenance services, selling new accessories or replacement parts as well as keeping the customer informed of the repair services progress.

Initiate repair order (RO) write up, listen to customers' requests and concerns and complete walk around inspection of their vehicle to start MPVI process.
Review customer information and needs, get RO signatures and assist with courtesy ride or escort to customer lounge.
Complete RO write-up in CDK, dispatch to available Tech and follow repair to conclusion and RO closing.
Complete MPVI, estimates and service contract requirements as needed to process RO.Maintain contact with customer twice each day to keep them informed on their repair progress and costs.
Consult with Service Manager, Foreman or Technician as needed during the vehicle repair process to ensure the best possible results.
Inspect each vehicle when it is done to be sure it is clean and repairs are complete.
Meet with customer at cashier to explain repairs completed and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Thank each customer for their business and explain the Ford Customer Satisfaction Survey they may receive and how important it is to Transwest that they are completely satisfied.
Maintain a clean, organized service drive area.
Maintain Ford Service Advisor training requirements for each quarter.
Work with Dealership Sales and Parts personnel to assist with any of their needs.
Other duties as assigned by the manager
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, the ability to reach with hands and arms, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to operate simple, complex and heavy-duty machinery.
Normal range of hearing and vision.
Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
Ability to multi-task.
Someone who is detail-oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work any shift if needed.
Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment, pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.
Previous Ford Technician experience.
Ford current active or user of Maintenance Menu and MPVI Report System.
Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drive train and suspension.
