Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with accuracy and confidence Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos, and suggest additional items through upselling techniques Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting in inventory replenishment Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Demonstrate strong communication skills to resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar stores Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience supervising or leading team members is desirable but not required Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, stocking shelves, and merchandising displays Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail math principles is advantageous Effective phone etiquette and communication skills essential for engaging with customers and team members Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
