MedVantage is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Collections Specialist as a key member of our location-based customer service team. The Customer Service/Collections Specialist, with a focus on accounts receivable, requires strong communication skills and nothing short of an excellent customer service skill set. All team members of the MedVantage Customer Service department deliver "white glove" service to our customers. What's In It for You? Key Competencies Uphold the key principles of a "customer-first" mindset. Maintain excellent, accurate, and detailed notes and records of account activities. General Responsibilities Handle incoming phone calls, customer order status inquiries, and process orders via phone and email, at times heavy. Communicate effectively and clearly with customers by phone and email correspondence. Track and follow up on payment for delinquent accounts by outbound calls and emails. Prepare deposits and accurately apply client payments (checks, credit cards, and ACH). Prioritize daily tasks with the ability to recognize and react to order of importance. Must be organized, accurate, overall excellent disciplines and housekeeping practices, and team mentality. Consistent with protocol and guidelines, willingness to learn and adhere to direction. Manage and complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Interact with sales and logistics department regarding orders, order status, inventory, shipping, and shipping costs. Identify patterns and customer feedback to improve efficiency within the department. Knowledge of products and ability to discuss in an intelligent and professional manner. Power user of QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Reports to the Customer Service Manager.
