Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Estimator to assess vehicle damage, write accurate repair estimates, and guide customers through the collision repair process. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clients, technicians, and insurance providers to deliver top-quality service.
Responsibilities Vehicle Inspection:
Perform detailed damage assessments for collision, cosmetic, and mechanical repairs.
Estimate Preparation:
Create transparent, detailed estimates using software like CCC one.
Customer Communication:
Explain costs, repair options, and timelines clearly to clients.
Workflow Coordination:
Work closely with technicians and shop managers to track job status and meet delivery deadlines.
Insurance, Fleet & Payment Follow-up:
Liaise with insurance providers and fleet companies to assist with parts management, process claims, and actively track and follow up on pending payments ..
Upselling:
Recommend additional maintenance services (brakes, alignments, tires, suspension) to add customer value.
Documentation:
Manage repair orders, invoicing, and customer records. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body estimating or automotive service writing. Proficiency in estimating software ( CCC ONE , Mitchell ) Strong mechanical knowledge (collision repair, diagnostics) Proven track record of handling insurance and fleet company billing/collections. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
