Customer Service Representative (Technical Support Focus)

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Onsite)

$20-$25/hour

DOE Position:

Temp Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is not your typical call center role — we are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a technical or mechanical mindset, and takes pride in helping customers resolve product-related issues. What You'll Do Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding product and service issues Troubleshoot and diagnose window and door concerns over the phone Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician support Research parts and process warranty/credit requests Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems Process customer payments and arrange shipment of service parts Communicate with customers before and after appointments to ensure satisfaction Partner with sales, operations, technicians, and corporate support teams to resolve issues Meet department productivity and quality goals Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 0-2 years of customer service or business experience preferred Construction, window/door, or technical product knowledge is a plus but not required Excellent phone and email etiquette Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Technical, mechanical, construction, or repair-related background preferred Ability to troubleshoot and think critically Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn proprietary software systems Team player with a proactive attitude and strong organizational skills #ZINGNJ #ZINGZIP Zing Recruiting, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
