Job Description
We are looking for a customer-focused individual to support service operations for a manufacturing organization in Pennsauken, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage customer interactions, coordinate scheduling needs, and maintain accurate communication across teams. The right candidate will bring strong organizational skills, confidence with office software, and the ability to deliver a high standard of service in a fast-paced onsite environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone and other channels, providing timely updates and attentive support throughout each interaction.
- Coordinate account-related activities to ensure customer requests, service needs, and follow-up actions are completed accurately.
- Manage scheduling and dispatch-related tasks, aligning service activity with customer expectations and internal priorities.
- Maintain organized records of customer communications, job details, and service outcomes using computer-based systems.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve issues, clarify service requirements, and keep workflows moving efficiently.
- Monitor open requests and proactively communicate status updates to customers to promote a positive service experience.
- Use Microsoft Office and other business systems to prepare documentation, track activity, and support daily operations.
- Experience supporting customers in a call center, service desk, or similar high-volume customer service setting.
- Working knowledge of customer account coordination and service follow-up processes.
- Familiarity with scheduling, dispatch support, or computer-aided dispatch environments.
- Strong computer proficiency, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
- Availability to work onsite in Pennsauken, New Jersey during a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
