overview Since its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company. With corporate headquarters in New Jersey, the company is on a course of growth leading to activities across the nation. Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board. We're currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our multi-family portfolio of properties, Candidate will work full time at our Corporate office in Piscataway, NJ This position will be responsible to handle and coordinate various customer service needs for our residents and Edgewood's staff specifically for our various multi-family residential properties. responsibilities Responsibilities Handle all rollover phone calls that are generated from our various multi-family residential properties Ensure accurate note taking from callers in order to pass on any additional information if needed Follow up with new residents and gather feedback on their move-in experiences. Follow up with previous residents on their experiences while living at the community and the move out process. Random calls to residents informing them of Edgewood services Coordinate with on-site staff to maintain communication with residents Various customer service duties as needed qualifications Previous Experience Desired 3-5 years of customer service experience Customer Service focus Good communication skills Attention to detail Organized Computer literate/Excel Documents Phone Experience Strong work ethic Must be able to meet deadlines
Education Desired:
