Front of House / Customer Service Team Member D'Angelo's Italian Market & Catering is a growing, family-owned Italian market, deli, and catering business in Princeton, NJ. We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Front of House / Customer Service Team Member to join our team. This is a customer-facing role that plays an important part in creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. You'll help guests place orders, prepare and fulfill orders, answer phones, assist with bakery orders, and keep the front of the store running smoothly. What You'll Do Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Build and package customer orders Fulfill bakery and specialty orders Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions and orders Help customers navigate the menu and products Communicate clearly with the deli, kitchen, bakery, and other team members to ensure orders are completed correctly Check orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and well stocked Assist with customer questions, special requests, and catering or large orders Help create a welcoming and positive environment for our customers Follow food safety, cleanliness, and service standards Support other areas of the store as needed Availability Requirement Must be available to work Saturdays at any time between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We're looking for someone who: Is friendly, welcoming, and comfortable interacting with customers Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is reliable, punctual, and responsible Pays close attention to detail Can stay organized while handling multiple tasks at once Works well in a fast-paced environment Is comfortable answering phones and speaking with customers Takes pride in doing things correctly and efficiently Works well as part of a team Is willing to learn and accept feedback Takes accountability for their work and responsibilities Previous customer service, retail, restaurant, deli, bakery, or food-service experience is a plus, but experience is not required.
