Service Advisor/Writer

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to become an integral part of our team! As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers, documenting their concerns, and coordinating with service technicians. Your knowledge of automotive repair processes and ability to upsell additional services will contribute to the success of our dealership. Job Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer phones promptly and courteously. Check vehicles in and obtain vehicle information. Create a repair order with clear details on the vehicle symptoms, as described by the customer. Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle mileage and history. Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for the cost of vehicle repairs according to technician's diagnosis/recommendations and get customer approval. Monitor vehicle status with technicians and parts department and update customers accordingly. Complete repair order as per provided estimate. Inform customers on completion of vehicle. Explain services that were completed and total charges.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role in an automotive dealership is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to accurately transmit information between customers and service technicians
  • Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Please note that this position requires a background check and drug screening as part of our hiring process.

Monday•
Friday:
7-5pm.
Saturdays:
8-5pm.
Job Type:

$50,000.00
  • $125,000.
