Part-Time Office Assistant / Auction Company

About the Role We are a fast-paced commercial auction company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to support our office operations. This is a hands-on role working directly with customers, processing payments, and helping keep auctions running smoothly. What You'll Do Answer phones and assist customers with auction questions Greet buyers and process payments during pickup Monitor unpaid invoices and follow up by phone/email Keep notes on customer accounts (payment + pickup status) Coordinate with field staff regarding pickups and issues Email consignors when their items go live for auction Make daily bank deposits Pick up lunch for the office (company paid) What We're Looking For Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable handling payments and collections Strong communication skills (phone + email) Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry) Reliable and punctual Why This Job Works Consistent daytime hours (done by 2PM) Small team, no corporate environment Paid lunch daily Opportunity to grow into a larger role How to Apply Reply with your resume and a short note explaining your experience with: Customer service Handling payments or collections Office/admin work Please include the word 'AUCTION' in your reply so we know you read this.
