Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Client Services Representative to support order management and customer account activities for a manufacturing environment near Ramsey, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication, transactional accuracy, and cross-functional coordination. The role will focus on ensuring smooth order flow, resolving account-related issues, and helping internal and external partners keep shipments and documentation on track.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming customer orders received through multiple channels, confirming details such as pricing, freight arrangements, and payment terms before processing.
  • Generate shipment invoices and help reconcile outstanding deliveries to support accurate month-end close activities.
  • Examine customer account terms and routing instructions to ensure orders are handled in accordance with agreed requirements.
  • Monitor open order activity within the assigned territory and follow up to promote on-time fulfillment and shipping.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to address product availability issues and accelerate order release and delivery.
  • Review and process return authorizations, including researching prior order records when supporting documentation is missing.
  • Prepare debit and credit transactions to resolve billing discrepancies and inventory-related account issues.
  • Use vendor portals to gather account information, complete required tasks, and maintain customer service workflows.
  • Compile and distribute requested reports for customers and internal stakeholders, and investigate pricing deductions by supplying supporting records to the Credit team.
