Job Description

The CSR will be responsible for answering the phone and scheduling patients' appointments, scheduling surgical procedures, obtaining prior authorizations, managing the reception area in an organized fashion, accepting and/or collecting co-pays and balances (cash receivables), obtaining insurance information, insurance verification, faxing and photocopying various items, and for creating a customer-friendly environment. Responsible for daily handling of Super Bills, Coding of procedures, and for generating the end day billing report. Excellent telephone skills and etiquette required. All other general office duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
At least 1 year of prior experience as a receptionist required; medical experience preferred. Must have basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have good typing skills. Strong organizational skills a required.
License/Certificates:
Billing and Coding Certificate preferred. •
Rate:
