Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and speed using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash drawer balancing, cash register operations, and ensuring secure cash storage. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store environment. Assist with inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock checks, and supporting inventory counts. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling is essential for smooth transactions. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings.
