Job Description
We are small publisher looking for a new member of our customer service team. Our customers are librarians at high schools, colleges, and public libraires, and they are great to work with! The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience, including order entry, handling incoming phone calls, and answering emails in a professional manner. Dependability, attention to detail, and accuracy are important to excel in this position and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Job responsibilities include general customer service, order entry, responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, and running daily and monthly reports. This is a full-time position, so the hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are no weekend or evening hours required. Full time employees are offered health and dental benefits, 401(k), and paid vacation and sick time. The average tenure of our employees is 8 years or more, so we're looking for someone who would like to join our group long-term and help us keep our library customers happy.
