Job Description

VCA Katonah Bedford Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our compassionate, team-oriented veterinary practice. About the Role Our CSRs are the face of our hospital and play a critical role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for both clients and their pets. You'll work closely with our doctors, technicians, and assistants to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional client care. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow Accurately enter and update client and patient information Process payments, estimates, and invoices Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners Assist with client education and follow-up communications Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Support the medical team as needed to ensure efficient workflow Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments Flexible schedule, including some evenings and/or weekends Prior customer service experience required Veterinary or medical front-desk experience preferred (but not required) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and paid holidays Employee pet care discounts Paid training and continuing education opportunities Career growth and advancement within VCA and Mars Veterinary Health Supportive, team-focused work environment VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and wellbeing programs that provide resources and training.
