PC/Laptop Deployment Specialist Job Description Summary:

The PC/Laptop Deployment Specialist supports customer device deployment and technology refresh projects at customer locations. Key Responsibilities Configure and deploy desktop and laptop computers. Reconnect and test monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals. Perform basic hardware upgrades as required. Support user data migration and device transition activities. Decommission legacy equipment. Maintain accurate deployment records and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues. Communicate deployment status, progress, and issues in a timely manner. Follow established customer deployment procedures and standards. Provide professional, customer-focused support to end users. Work under customer supervision and direction. Report daily to the designated Customer Supervisor, follow assigned priorities and deployment schedules, and communicate work completed, outstanding issues, and items requiring escalation. Travel & Schedule Requirements Must have reliable transportation to travel to customer locations. Travel to customer locations, primarily throughout the Metro Boston area. Travel within Massachusetts and New Hampshire may be required. Adhere to scheduled onsite hours. Work regular business hours unless otherwise directed by the Customer Supervisor. Occasional off-hours work may be required to support customer operational or deployment requirements.

Travel & Parking Reimbursement Travel:

Reimbursed for eligible trips more than 30 miles outside Boston. Receipts are required.

Parking:

Reimbursed up to $25 per day with a valid receipt. Employment & Customer Site Requirements Must pass a background check. Must be comfortable working in healthcare and other professional business environments. Professional appearance is required while working at customer locations. Must complete all required HIPAA training. Must comply with all Customer health, safety, security, and site-access protocols. [Seasonal Flu vaccine is required.] Must follow all applicable customer policies and procedures while working at customer locations. MUST have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Metro Boston Area (Travel Required) Will be going to Hospital and Medical sites inside of Route 495 (mostly Boston-area and suburbs) with the exception of Dover NH,.. and a slight chance of possibly

Cape Cod and Northampton MA Schedule:

Typically, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Customer Dependent - could require off-hours on occasion)

Duration:

6+ months (MAY convert to perm after 6 months) Pay rate: $22/hr
