$25.00

They offer a stable, team-oriented, and high-energy work environment located centrally in Long Island. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, multi-tasking Dispatch / Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced office team. This role serves as the central point of contact for customer inquiries, service scheduling, and route coordination across Long Island. Prior dispatching experience is NOT required —we are looking for an exceptional customer service professional with strong communication skills and a solid working knowledge of Nassau County geography. Key Responsibilities Answer high-volume incoming customer calls, addressing inquiries, scheduling deliveries, and resolving issues with a professional, customer-first attitude. Coordinate daily delivery and service technician routes across Nassau County towns and surrounding areas. Multi-task efficiently between phone lines, computer entry, and team communication during high-volume seasonal peak periods (particularly winter). Maintain accurate customer account records, service logs, and dispatch notes in the company database. Collaborate closely with drivers and field technicians to ensure prompt, accurate service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements Customer Service Focus:
Proven background in high-volume customer service, call center, or fast-paced office administration.
Local Geographic Knowledge:
Must have a solid understanding of Nassau County geography (e.g., familiar with North Shore vs. South Shore towns, key transit routes, and local communities).
Skills & Abilities:
Outstanding multi-tasking abilities, strong phone etiquette, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during peak busy seasons.
Schedule:
Dependable attendance for the full 7:30 AM
•5:00 PM shift.
