Job Description

Donor Services Associate, Ossining, NY Who We Are:

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers - also known as the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, Inc. - was founded in 1911 with the support of the Bishops of the United States to be the chief mission outreach of the Catholic Church in the United States. We live and work side-by-side with the poor and marginalized to combat poverty, provide healthcare, build communities and promote human rights in over 20 countries. The Donor Services Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our database, accurately processing daily contributions, and providing responsive, donor-centered customer service. This position focuses on cultivating strong relationships with donors and ensuring timely acknowledgments, addressing donors' questions and requests promptly and respectfully, in alignment with Maryknoll's mission to serve. Key functions include, but are not limited to, analyzing incoming donations, addressing donor requests and correspondence, generating internal reports, and updating donor records. The Donor Services Associate will respond to inbound calls from donors, enter and process donations through a virtual terminal, and ensure donor requests and donation designations are fulfilled.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must have 1-2 years of customer service and data entry experience. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Accurate and efficient data entry skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication to handle donor inquiries and questions over the phone. Typing, methodical, clerical, and detail-oriented skills. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, including Personal Identifiable Information (PII). Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a non-profit environment. Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and accuracy. Knowledge of Donor Management applications is preferred.

Salary:

$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Pay:

$24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
