Job Description

Tower Products Incorporated is a highly specialized broadcast and professional audio supply house serving the technical side of the media industry worldwide. Our customers include many of the most respected names in video production: NBC, Netflix, the NFL, and countless others. We are currently seeking a Jr Sales & Customer Support Specialist. This frontline House Brands role supports customer, sales, and product-related inquiries for TecNec, Camplex, and related house-brand products. The position includes daily customer contact by email, phone, web inquiry, and in-person interaction, along with lead follow-up, trade show support, and coordination with sales, purchasing, engineering, customer service, and the Brands Manager. This is an entry-to-growth opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, base-level technical/product knowledge, and the willingness to learn deeper product, customer, and market support responsibilities over time. This role offers a practical growth path into broader house-brand sales support, product support, technical support, trade-show support, or brand-management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer, sales, and product support Serve as a frontline contact for house-brand inquiries received by email, phone, web form, and in-person interaction; respond professionally and escalate complex technical requests when appropriate. Follow up on branded sales leads from web inquiries, dealer requests, internal referrals, trade shows, and other customer contact points. Support quotes, product questions, customer records, product notes, and other sales-support tasks for TecNec, Camplex, and related house-brand product lines. Build working knowledge of common product applications, signal types, cable assemblies, connectors, and customer use cases to provide basic product and technical support. Assist with product-data review, report monitoring, data entry, product-information maintenance, training materials, and basic process documentation. Review reports and other business systems for escalation or for highlighting to senior staff opportunities to address or improve. Participate in trade show planning, event preparation, customer follow-up, occasional site visits, and related customer-support coverage. Maintain a professional, helpful, accountable approach when working with customers, sales staff, vendors, and internal departments. Knowledge and Skills Requirements :
Prior customer service, sales support, retail, inside sales, technical support, or other frontline customer-facing experience preferred. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person with a professional, service-oriented tone. Base-level understanding of audio, video, data, fiber, copper, cable assemblies, connectors, or related technical products preferred; willingness to learn is required. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage follow-ups, open questions, customer commitments, and multiple priorities. Microsoft Office proficiency required; strong Excel skills preferred. Proactive, accountable, resourceful, and able to ask good questions, gather facts, solve basic problems, and route issues appropriately. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel or work a flexible schedule for events, site visits, and customer-support coverage as needed.
