Customer Service / Front Desk Representative Mufson Medical Supply - Smithtown, NY Mufson Medical Supply is a family-owned medical supply company that has been serving the Long Island community for over 40 years. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized person to join our team as a Customer Service / Front Desk Representative . No previous medical equipment or DME experience is required. This is a very specialized industry, and we understand that most applicants will not have previous experience. We will provide training on our products, systems, and procedures. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with people, has basic computer skills, and is willing to learn. Responsibilities Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Listen to customers and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member. Answer and make phone calls. Schedule and manage customer appointments. Enter customer and patient information into our computer system. Send and receive faxes. Assist with basic paperwork and document organization. Take messages and communicate information to the appropriate staff member. Help keep the front desk and customer area organized. Assist the rest of the team with daily administrative tasks as needed. Learn and follow Mufson Medical Supply's procedures and computer systems. Qualifications No previous medical equipment experience required. Basic computer knowledge. Comfortable learning new computer systems and programs. Good communication and customer service skills. Friendly, patient, and professional. Organized and dependable. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment. Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone. Willingness to learn. Medical equipment, healthcare, receptionist, or customer service experience is a plus, but it is NOT required. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
