Member Service Representative Position Overview:
As a Member Service Representative, your focus is delivering exceptional service to our members while facilitating various transactions with precision and efficiency. Serving as a frontline representative of the organization, you uphold the highest standards of professionalism, focusing on creating a positive member centric experience. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.Position Type:
Full-Time. Typical shifts include Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM, with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM to 12:30PM.Compensation Range:
$18.00/hr. - $ 22.00/hr . •Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills•Location:
Position is on-site at our Town Square Mall Branch located at 2521 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, NY 13850 At this time, Visions Federal Credit Union will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position.Responsibilities/Duties:
Prioritize member demands while providing impeccable member service by greeting members warmly, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and courteously. Guide members to specialized team members for further assistance or services as needed. Complete all assigned educational courses and tests, within required timeframes and passing scores to include product knowledge. Identify opportunities and recommend products and services to members, to align with their financial needs and aspirations. Conduct cash handling and transaction processing accurately, adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Verify member identification and authorization for transactions to safeguard against fraud and unauthorized access. Provide departmental back-up coverage as needed. Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. Perform other duties needed to help fulfil our mission, drive our strategy, and support our organization's values.Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs. Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc. Visions remains committed to the aspects of diversity and inclusion and will consider alternative education and experience.Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
