This year, that adventure opens a new chapter in Victor, NY, with a brand-new 90,000-square-foot Outpost at Eastview Mall. As part of our Guest Services team, you'll be the first smile and the last thank-you every customer remembers — and a founding face of this exciting new store. Greeter, the first smile every guest sees Cashier, friendly, fast checkout Customer Service, solve problems and support the customer needs Phone Operator, answer the call and point guests in the right direction Snack Shop, fuel up hungry adventurers Position Summary The Guest Services Associate is often a customer's first and last impression of Bass Pro Shops, greeting, checking out, and assisting our guests to ensure a warm, efficient and legendary experience every visit. Essential Functions Greets and acknowledges all customers in a prompt, warm and friendly manner. Accurately and efficiently processes customer transactions using the computerized Point of Sale register system. Handles cash, credit and gift card transactions in accordance with company cash-handling policies. Answers and routes incoming calls and responds to general customer questions (Phone Operator). Resolves customer questions, returns, exchanges and concerns at the Customer Service desk. Prepares and serves Snack Shop food and beverage items, following food safety and sanitation standards. Provides information, assistance and direction to customers throughout the store. Promotes programs including, but not limited to, CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up. Keeps work area, registers and Snack Shop clean, neat and well stocked with supplies. Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
