Job Summary We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a 4+ month contract opportunity in West Henrietta, NY. This onsite role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping clients, managing detailed follow-up, and working in a fast-paced service environment. In this role, you will support clients using background screening services through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels. The position offers a professional office setting, consistent Monday through Friday hours, structured expectations, and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team focused on service quality, accuracy, and timely issue resolution. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
  • Support clients with background screening service inquiries, outstanding requests, and follow-up items.
  • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound customer communications while meeting service-level expectations.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and complete data entry using business systems and software applications.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks, maintain productivity, and meet established quality and performance goals.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and serve as a resource to less experienced team members when needed. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate:
    $22.00 per hour.
  • Job Type:
    4+ month contract.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Hours:
    40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Work Arrangement:
    Onsite in West Henrietta, NY 14586.
  • Work Environment:
    Professional office environment.
  • No driving required.
  • No passing test is required after training. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Provide customer support for background screening and related client service inquiries.
  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, emails, chats, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, complete data entry, and manage customer requests within service-level expectations.
  • Use multiple business systems and software applications to complete daily customer service responsibilities.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Comfortable handling high-volume inbound and outbound customer calls.
  • Clear, confident, and professional telephone communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with customer outreach, follow-up, documentation, and data entry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a goal-driven and metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Comfortable learning and using multiple software systems and applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Resilient, motivated, and able to manage challenging customer interactions professionally. Preferred Qualifications
  • Call center experience.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound calling.
  • Email and chat support experience.
  • CRM or HRIS system experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience with case management, request follow-up, or service-level management.
  • Process improvement mindset.
