Customer Service/Sales Representative Crown Personnel Services - 3.8 Dayton, OH Job Details Full-time $17 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Administrative experience Data entry Clerical experience Manufacturing Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Representative to support our hydraulic manufacturing operations. This role is heavily focused on order entry, data accuracy, and customer communication , while also supporting inside sales functions. This is a non-commission-based position ideal for individuals who excel in administrative, customer service, and order processing environments. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and process high-volume customer orders for hydraulic parts, components, and systems Maintain and update customer records, pricing, and order details within internal systems (ERP/CRM) Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, lead times, and shipping details Generate and manage customer quotes based on specifications and pricing guidelines Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness prior to processing Coordinate with production, engineering, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Communicate proactively with customers regarding delays, backorders, or order changes Assist customers with product selection and basic hydraulic component knowledge Handle order changes, returns, and issue resolution in a professional manner Track open orders and follow up on outstanding quotes to support sales activity Maintain organized documentation of customer interactions and transactions Support internal teams with administrative and clerical tasks as needed Qualifications 2+ years of customer service, order entry, or inside sales experience (manufacturing environment preferred) Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience working with ERP or CRM systems (such as SAP, Epicor, or similar) preferred Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and internal coordination) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of industrial, mechanical, or hydraulic products is a plus (training provided) Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
