Position Overview This position is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service by using a working knowledge of company products and programs, corresponding effectively in all customer interactions, working closely with team members and internal stakeholders, and fulfilling administrative duties associated with role. Key Responsibilities Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order and product knowledge requests. Processes customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures. Performs administrative functions related to orders and serving customers. Depending upon assigned location, those functions could include loading tickets, weighing inbound trucks, preparation of correspondence, systems and documentation maintenance, inventory, basic shipping/receiving administration, basic accounting duties, preparation of invoices, price quotes. Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Confers with sales, production, shipping, warehouse, and/or carrier to assure order fulfillment is optimized. What is expected of you and others at this level Has developed knowledge and skills through job related training or considerable experience Often entry level for those with work experience in relevant areas Works within established procedure with a moderate degree of supervision Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions Minimum Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent required 2-4 years' relevant experience required Strong accounting background required Customer service mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Forklift experience preferred, not required This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
