Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative with veterinary experience to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional client support, managing pet health inquiries, and assisting with various veterinary-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care, veterinary terminology, and customer service to ensure our clients receive the highest level of assistance and care for their pets. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on animal health and well-being.
Qualifications :
Warmly greet clients and their pets in person and over the phone, with a friendly and professional attitude. Answer a multi-line phone system and manage messages. Handle patient intake and process all client paperwork. Assist clients in a kind, reassuring, and empathetic manner, especially those with sick or anxious pets. Schedule appointments, access charts, emails and manage the flow of the front desk to ensure smooth operations. Process payments, discuss financial policies, and manage financial transactions. Provide clients with information about pet care and clinic services. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment. At least 1 year of demonstrated customer service experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and compassionate demeanor. Strong computer skills and experience with practice management software (e.g., Cornerstone) are a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. A passion for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional client care. A professional attitude and compassionate, patient, and problem-solving demeanor. Flexibility to work days, evenings, every other Saturday and one holiday each half of the year is required.
