Position Summary The Customer Service Representative serves as a primary point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for processing customer orders, maintaining customer information, coordinating with internal departments, and providing timely communication regarding products, orders, and customer inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Enter and manage customer purchase orders accurately within the ERP system. Provide customers with product, pricing, availability, shipping, and service information. Coordinate closely with sales, production, logistics, and other internal teams to support customer needs. Maintain accurate customer records, including pricing, delivery locations, packaging requirements, shipping instructions, and account notes. Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers. Investigate and assist in resolving customer concerns, complaints, and service issues while accurately documenting information within company systems. Support order fulfillment activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance customer satisfaction and internal processes.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent customer service experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Effective organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business software systems. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
