Job Description

Customer Experience Representative Columbus, OH | Full-Time | Non-Exempt (Hourly) About the Opportunity We're partnering with a growing, values-driven company to hire a Customer Experience Representative in Columbus. The team is built on growth, integrity, ownership, and collaboration. People here take care of each other and their customers. In this role, you'll be the go-to contact for a portfolio of key customer accounts. You'll respond quickly, manage orders and account status proactively, and make sure every customer feels well taken care of. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, handling quotes, orders, status checks, inventory availability, and invoice questions Proactively keep customers informed with order updates, including delivery timelines and payment needs Solve problems and deliver an excellent customer experience, escalating issues when needed so they're resolved on time Follow through on every request so tasks are completed quickly and accurately Recommend products and services that fit each customer's needs Work with suppliers and internal departments to fulfill customer requests Support new customer onboarding and guide accounts through setup Build reports and take other proactive steps to support customer requirements Log all interactions in the CRM and ticketing system, and meet performance goals for call volume, ticket resolution, service levels, and customer satisfaction What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or another high-volume environment High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written Comfort handling a high volume of phone calls Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization Ownership mindset: you take accountability for every inquiry until it's resolved Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HubSpot, RingCentral, Freshdesk, or similar platforms is preferred but not required Why This Role A stable, growing company with a strong people-first culture Real ownership of customer relationships instead of a scripted call-center role A collaborative, transparent team environment We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
