  • Full-time Community Veterinary Clinic is seeking a outgoing veterinary receptionist/client care representative to join our team for our Troy and Piqua clinics.

Requirements:
  • A positive, compassionate and self driven individual who is customer service oriented
  • Dependable, teachable, personable and a team player
  • Ability to answer and manage a multi-line phone system
  • Able to interact with clients by checking patients in, performing financial transactions, and answering client questions through clear communication in person, over the phone, or through email or text
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to be cross trained in some veterinary assistant work
  • Experience with animal clinic products is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a confident, calm, and professional manner with clients and staff when situations are stressful and/or focused on individual tasks
  • Experience working within the veterinary field required. Skills in medical reception considered. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing:
  • Answering multiline phones including: scheduling appointments and surgeries according to clinic guidelines, taking medication requests and confirming appointments.
  • Update communications and standard of care of patients within medical records
  • Responding to client emails and texts
  • Checking clients in for appointments and running financial transactions when discharging patients
  • Filing all patient authorization forms and other paperwork
  • Helping with technician appointments when needed
  • Daily cleaning tasks
