Customer Service Rep (CSR) — Royal-T Pest Control (Owasso, OK) We're a father-and-son pest control company in Owasso, and we're looking for the voice of our business. Here's the honest version of this job: when someone has wasps in the eaves or roaches in the kitchen, they're stressed — and you're the first person they talk to. Your job is to make them feel taken care of in the first ten seconds, then get a technician headed their way. You're part problem-solver, part scheduler, part salesperson. When you're good at it, you're the reason this company grows. This is not a sit-back-and-answer-the-phone job. Between calls you're on the phone reaching out — following up on leads that didn't book, checking in on recent customers, calling businesses. We keep score on what matters (how many leads you book, how fast you respond), and we'll coach you to hit those numbers. If you like a scoreboard, you'll love it here. If you'd rather hide, you won't. What your day actually looks like Answer inbound calls from people dealing with pests — listen, reassure, and book them for a free inspection. Handle the "your price is too high" and "let me think about it" moments without folding. We'll teach you exactly how.
Make outbound calls:
follow up on unbooked leads, check in on recent customers, reach out to local businesses. Keep every single lead tracked and every appointment scheduled correctly in our software. Be the warm, slightly playful personality people remember. ("Nice and dandy like cotton candy" is a real thing we say around here. If that made you smile, good sign.) You'll do great here if you Genuinely like people, and it comes through on the phone. Don't rattle when someone pushes back — you stay warm and keep going. Are organized enough that a lead never slips through the cracks. Can pick up software and systems (if you're comfortable in Google Sheets, you're fine). Actually want to be coached and get a little better every week. This probably isn't your job if You go quiet the second someone says no, you hate being measured, or you'd rather not be on the phone most of the day. No hard feelings — we'd just be wasting each other's time. About the experience thing You do not need pest control or even sales experience. We train the right person from the ground up — four weeks of hands-on onboarding before you're on your own. We hire for personality and work ethic; the rest we can teach. Pay & perks $12-$20/hour depending on experience — plus booking commissions on top of your hourly: $10 for every termite-preventative inspection you book on outbound calls $10 for every Dream 100 (commercial) appointment you book $5 for every Google review you land while making outbound calls Paid time off and parental leave. Real room to grow. A genuinely good place to work: small team, family-owned, zero corporate nonsense. The basics Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (hour lunch). In person, at our Owasso office (74055) — reliable transportation required. Must pass a background check and a drug test. How to apply Send us your resume — and start your message by telling us the last time you turned someone's bad day around. We read every application, and that line tells us you did too.
