Job Description

Career Growth Opportunity This position is designed as an entry point into Powertrain Solutions' sales organization. Successful candidates will gain valuable product knowledge, industry expertise, and customer relationship skills that can lead to advancement into an Account Manager role. Overview Powertrain Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join our growing team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers and prospective clients, handling inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, supporting Account Managers, and ensuring exceptional customer service. As part of our sales organization, this position is designed to provide hands-on training in our products, systems, and industry while offering a clear path toward advancement into an Account Manager role. Duties Answer inbound customer service calls and serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, product questions, order status requests, and warranty-related concerns. Make outbound calls to prospective wholesale customers to identify business opportunities and qualify new leads. Accurately enter and maintain customer, prospect, and lead information within company systems. Route qualified leads and customer inquiries to the appropriate Account Manager or department for follow-up. Learn company products, part numbering systems, warranty processes, and industry terminology to confidently assist customers. Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth communication between customers, Account Managers, and internal teams. Support the sales team by handling front-line customer interactions, allowing Account Managers to focus on customer growth and account development. Requirements Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, call center, or administrative support preferred. Comfortable making outbound calls and handling a high volume of inbound customer interactions. Strong communication and phone skills with a professional and customer-focused approach. Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn automotive products, transmissions, and wholesale B2B sales processes; industry experience is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Pay:
$24.98 - $30.08 per hour
