Receptionist / Dispatcher - New Image Restoration New Image Restoration is hiring a dependable, organized Receptionist/Dispatcher to serve as the first point of contact for customers experiencing water, fire, mold, sewage, and other property damage. This is not a position where you simply answer phones. Your main responsibility is turning incoming calls into properly scheduled appointments while keeping customers, project managers, and field crews informed throughout the day. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming calls quickly, professionally, and with empathy Gather complete information about the customer, property, damage, insurance claim, and urgency Schedule inspections, emergency services, monitoring appointments, and crew visits Dispatch project managers and field crews based on urgency, availability, and location Confirm realistic arrival windows before giving them to customers Update the company calendar and job-management system accurately Contact customers with arrival updates, delays, or scheduling changes Follow up on missed calls, web leads, voicemails, and unscheduled opportunities Communicate job details clearly to the assigned project manager or crew Make sure every scheduled appointment has the correct address, phone number, service type, notes, and assigned employee Assist with basic office duties, customer communication, and job-file updates when needed Help prevent leads, appointments, and customer requests from falling through the cracks What We're Looking For Strong phone and customer-service skills Able to remain calm when customers are dealing with stressful emergencies Excellent organization and attention to detail Comfortable managing several calls, schedules, and priorities at once Clear written and verbal communication Dependable attendance and punctuality Comfortable using computers, calendars, text messaging, and job-management software Able to make decisions within established dispatch rules instead of waiting for the owner to handle everything Previous receptionist, dispatcher, call-center, home-service, restoration, plumbing, HVAC, or construction experience is preferred How Success Will Be Measured Calls answered promptly and professionally Missed calls and new leads followed up on quickly Complete and accurate customer information Appointments scheduled correctly Crews dispatched without preventable confusion or delays Customers kept informed of arrival times and schedule changes No leads or customer requests left without a documented next step About New Image Restoration New Image Restoration is a growing, full-service restoration company serving customers affected by water, fire, mold, sewage, and property damage. We provide emergency mitigation, contents services, demolition, cleaning, and reconstruction. Our office and field teams work together to respond quickly, communicate clearly, and help customers through difficult situations. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the phones and schedule, follows established systems, and understands that every missed call or scheduling mistake can mean losing a customer.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
