We are seeking a caring, organized, and professional Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will create positive first impressions, foster a welcoming environment, and support both clients and patients during their visit. Caring Hands Animal Hospital is one of the few family-owned small animal hospitals left in the area. We are located in Danville, PA. As a progressive practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. Our CSRs play a vital role in that mission, serving as the communication hub of our hospital and ensuring every client feels heard and valued.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, friendly, and energetic welcome
- Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and electronically
- Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Provide accurate information about services and pricing
- Educate clients on preventive care and vaccines
- Handle admission and discharge of patients
- Collaborate with the veterinary team for efficient workflow
- Manage the veterinary hospital's calendar and appointment scheduling
- Process payments and maintain financial records
- Accurately update client and patient information in the practice management software system
- Organize and manage medical records
- Maintain a clean and inviting reception area
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer skills to apply to the use of practice management software
- Basic math skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in organizational tasks
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Consistently interact with hospital staff and visitors in a professional manner
- Calm demeanor even during stress situations
