Job Description

Our local accounting firm is growing, and we are looking for a full-time Client Service Coordinator / Bookkeeper. Candidate must enjoy working with the public and accounting work, while working in a supportive, flexible and pleasant, family-oriented work environment! Qualifications Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Teachable and eager to learn and grow professionally High attention to detail, maintaining confidentiality & organization Good time management skills Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite Experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks (Preferred) Payroll and Sales Tax Experience (Preferred) Responsibilities You will be the first point of contact for clients and will be responsible for making them feel welcome and ensuring their experience is stellar! Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a timely and helpful manner. Scheduling appointments and following up on outstanding items. Collecting and organizing incoming tax documents and assisting client at time of completion. You will have several assigned bookkeeping client accounts and will need to manage them timely and with excellence. Managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, QuickBooks reports, payroll, sales tax filings, and other accounting tasks. Providing payroll and bookkeeping training support clients. There will also be some daily administrative tasks, scanning, filing and local client deliveries, etc. Compensation Small, family-friendly, positive office environment Flexibility and predictable, long-term role Paid Time Off Simple IRA with 3% employer match
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
