In this entry-level role, you will learn the fundamentals of automotive service advisor while supporting our service department's daily operations. As a Service Advisor Trainee, you will assist experienced advisors in communicating with customers, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a smooth service experience. Responsibilities Support senior Service Advisors by learning to communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle needs and repair options Assist with estimating vehicle repairs using estimating software and mechanical knowledge Help coordinate vehicle repairs, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Gain hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and service writing to accurately document repair procedures Develop upselling skills by recommending additional services such as tire rotations or fluid replacements to enhance customer satisfaction Learn dealership processes for vehicle maintenance scheduling, cash handling, and client communication Support the team in maintaining organized records of service orders, estimates, and repair histories Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive repair procedures and diagnostics
