Job Description
Client Service Representative:
Part Time VCA Delaware Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a part time Client Service Representative to join our team. Experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred, but not necessary. Willing to train the right individual, but the qualified candidate should be able to handle busy phones, and at times, a somewhat fast paced environment. This is a part time position, approximately 20 hrs a week. The schedule will require a combination of days, evenings and Saturdays. The successful candidate will enjoy people, be very dedicated to delivering great customer service, be a team player, and must be extremely reliable. Why We Need You Our practice is growing and we need to expand our support staff.Main duties and responsibilities:
The Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:- Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing electronic medical records, reports, and correspondence.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
