What We're Looking For A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine desire to take care of customers Reliable and dependable Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Someone who works well with a team and communicates with coworkers Willingness to work evenings and weekends Someone looking for part-time hours who is also willing to pick up additional shifts when needed Previous restaurant or cashier experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person How Our Scheduling Works At JoJo's, we believe in having a consistent set schedule every week , so our team knows when they are expected to work. We also understand that things come up. When you need a day off, our Front of House team communicates with each other and works together to find coverage for shifts . We believe in helping each other out and being a team. Pay & Tips You'll earn an hourly wage plus tips . We use a tip pool that is shared among our entire staff , because everyone contributes to the customer experience. The more hours you work, the more you participate in the tip pool. Picking up additional shifts is a great way to increase your weekly earnings. If you're looking to make more money and learn more about the restaurant , some of our cashiers choose to cross-train in the kitchen as well. You can learn additional tasks such as preparing salads, working the fryer, and helping with other kitchen tasks when needed. The more you learn and the more areas of the restaurant you can help with, the more opportunities you have to pick up hours. What You'll Do Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude Take customer orders while becoming knowledgeable about our menu and being able to answer customer questions Run food to tables and make sure customers receive their orders promptly Answer incoming phone calls and take pickup and delivery orders Keep the Front of House clean, neat, and organized throughout your shift Work together with the rest of the Front of House team to keep the dining room looking clean, organized, and welcoming for our customers Clear and clean tables and make sure the dining room stays presentable Communicate with the kitchen and Front of House team to keep orders running smoothly Work together as a team to provide an excellent customer experience Keeping our Front of House clean is a huge priority at JoJo's. Everyone on the Front of House team is responsible for working together to make sure the dining room stays neat, organized, and welcoming.
