Job Description

General Responsibilities/Job Summary The Client Support Staff plays a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of client services by acting as a point of contact for client needs, coordinating essential resources, assisting in the distribution of food and personal care items, and maintaining a supportive and clean environment. This position may involve direct client and community interaction, administrative support to the case management and shelter teams, and assisting with various facility-related tasks to ensure efficient program delivery and client well-being. Essential Functions/Duties Communicates client needs to case management team and assists with referral coordination Supports daily client activities including service provider set ups Supports requests for community service hours Assists with donation pickups and deliveries Coordinates meals with outside agency, prepares meals when needed, maintains overall cleanliness of client dining area Manages client laundry schedule and facility Train new volunteers Complete incident reports when required Assists with client move outs and room housekeeping Attend staff meetings as needed Perform related work as required
Minimum Qualifications Education/Training:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and write and a high school level Ability to accurately and neatly complete program documents
Experience:
Six (6) month prior experience working with the homeless population or previous personal experience with homelessness
