Parts Manager - Class 8
Truck Fleet Location:
Quarryville, PA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00
PM Compensation:
Salary (Based on Experience) + Performance Bonus Opportunities We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to oversee the parts department for our growing Class 8 semi-truck repair and fleet operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized inventory, supporting technicians, and helping grow the business. Responsibilities Manage all Class 8 truck parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts. Order parts from vendors while maintaining proper inventory levels. Source quality parts at competitive pricing. Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are available to keep repairs moving efficiently. Create and assist with repair orders, work orders, and customer invoices. Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate. Monitor inventory accuracy and reduce obsolete or excess stock. Help improve parts department processes and overall efficiency. Assist in developing and growing outside parts sales, including local commercial accounts and online parts sales. Qualifications Experience in heavy-duty/Class 8 truck parts management preferred. Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck components and aftermarket suppliers. Excellent organizational and inventory management skills. Computer proficiency with parts lookup, inventory, and invoicing software. Strong communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. A business-minded approach with an interest in helping expand parts sales is a strong plus.
